'Dubbed “the Dancer’s Workout for the Non-Dancer”, this class takes traditional Barre class and brings it center stage for a fun cardio workout.  Using ballet inspired movements done to the rhythm in a non-stop format, you’ll sweat, burn and dance your way to a lengthening, toning and graceful workout that will leave a smile on your face.  Done barefoot and free-standing (no equipment) to music, we will repeat short choreographed phrases to give you the cardiovascular equivalent to your typical barre class.  Feel the burn and join the fun as we work on toning, balance, flexibility, coordination, posture and cardio all in one class!  You will need no equipment fo any kind for this class.  Just come barefoot or in socks (as long as the floor is not too slippery) on a 6 foot wide space and you are good to go.  Be sure to bring water and a towel for yourself as this is a cardio class and you’ll be sweating!  Sometimes we end with core work on the floor, so if you need to have a mat, it would be good to have one handy for the last 10 minutes of class.'
