But once they get use to it, they started to spin well and climb up the pole, and started really fun, and then they start to express themselves. They show themselves. They are used to hiding, hidden everything, and then they start to express themselves. The classes are proving popular with those looking to increase their fitness levels and shed a few inhibitions. STORYLINE: Pole dancing is becoming popular among some Japanese women looking for new ways to keep fit and at the same time have fun. Now new clubs are springing up with students eager to learn the techniques. Lu Nagata is a dance instructor who is trying to meet the growing demand for pole dancing classes. One thing is for sure, it\'s not as easy as Lu makes it looks. Yuki, a student at one of the classes, says she likes pole dancing because it is sexy and makes her feel powerful. Before the students can perform a full dance they have to master the correct pole gripping technique. Mari, a student, says she started dancing because she wants to tone up her body. With more women taking up the hobby, new dance studios are opening to meet the ever growing demand. The opening of a new dance studio is also an opportunity for the students to showcase some the techniques they have learned. Lu, a dance instructor, says pole dancing is new to a country like Japan where women tend to be modest and shy about showing their bodies.
