'Hi, I am the first Bengali men\'s physique athlete to win anything in the U.K so far. I have got a couple of big things happening this year with my bodybuilding and am competing at the Bodypower in May. My main goal is to show Bengali people that we can get into the sport of bodybuilyding and take it to the next level as I am doing right now. Shamsul Ali - Welsh UKBFF Men\'s Physique up to 178cm Champion. 5th Place British Championships Finalist. In less than 10 months my journey has taken me from making the top 15 out of 28 participants in my first competition at the Portsmouth UKBFF men\'s physique category in April 2015 to winning the welsh UKBFF up to 178cm men\'s physique in September 2015, beating 2 times Welsh champion title holder. Having won my category got me an invite to the British Championships that were to be held in Nottingham on Saturday 3rd October. There were 25 athletes including myself, I would of been more than happy with being in the top 15 but I managed to make the top 6 and then be placed 5th. With the level of competition I was up against, I feel this has been my greatest achievement so far. What I have achieved in only 10 months is hard for most athletes to progress to in double that time. I am the only Bengali to win the UKBFF Welsh title in the men\'s physique category up to 178cm. Wales being my birth place but parents originating from Bangladesh. I feel I can inspire people in the Asian community and I am proof that there is hope and a chance for those who wouldn\'t stereotypically succeed in such events. My journey has only just begun and the progress I am making is better than I imagined. My physique isn\'t just about size and how big I can get, which a lot of people starting the competition industry seem to think, it\'s also about definition and posing which I am slowly starting to master in such a small space of time.
