'As a group fitness instructor, don\'t forget about the importance of a quick, solid introduction of yourself, the class and welcoming your students! Here are some ideas to build an outstanding Introduction, and hopefully keep it to under 30 seconds. 1- Let your Inner Confidence Shine Through, face your class and smile. 2- Say your name 3- Tell them the duration of your class 4- Share the plan: do they need equipment for class, bands, weights, a mat? Or is it a strength class, cardio, dance, yoga, etc? Let them know what they\'ll need to perform this class at their best ability with the proper tools. 5- Create the Inviting Atmosphere, and create that welcoming environment so they feel part of something bigger than just one person! And make sure to BE YOU! People come to your class for your personality, your style and for YOU! They don\'t get you on a treadmill, so let your personality comes out in the first 30 seconds! (Yes, the intro should be less than that, your students want to WORK OUT, not listen to you talk ;) )'
