With these exercises, you will obviously need to use a bar to work toward a pull up or chin up. I’m not going to lie and say these are easy, but if you’re a beginner, grab a partner and have them spot you. You will get in position as if you’re going to do a pull up or chin up and your partner will gently hold onto your chins (your legs will slightly rest on their thighs). Push Ups and Plank Based Moves: There are so many ways to do a push up. If you’re a beginner, you can start on the floor on your knees and if you’re more advanced you can elevate your feet on a bench with your hands on the floor. If you’re feeling aggressive, you can place your feet on a wall and push up. I love pushups!!! They are challenging, they help develop your core, and define your chest and arms! Dips\" This is another great exercise. Again, if you’re a beginner, start on the floor. If you want to progress and don’t have access to a bench, use a chair to make it higher, keeping your heels light on the floor. Plyos / Jumps / Lunges / Floor Based Exercises: These can be anything from a burpies, plyo jumps, lunges, split lunges, jumps, and hip bridges – anything that moves your body!
