'Come see why foam rolling and flexibility training is the “must do” part of any fitness regimen.  Foam rolling (or Self-Myofascial Release) is one of the best ways to recover sore muscles, maintain joint alignment, increase mobility, decrease tension and prevent injuries.  Most stretching practices can only get into the basic areas of the body, but by using a foam roller and tennis balls for self-massage, you’ll be able to not only treat muscles for optimum performance, but you’ll be able to identify problem spots in your own body and stop joint problems before they start.  Any fitness level is welcome, but be aware that we will be spending a lot of time maneuvering on the floor with the roller.  You’ll walk away feeling loosened, aligned and relaxed in this informative soothing class.  For this class, you’ll need about 6 feet of flat floor space as well as a foam roller (any size) and 2 tennis balls.  Other types of balls are ok as long as they are two of the same size and not too dense.  Lacrosse balls and pinky balls are great as well, but baseballs and softballs may be too hard for what we want here.  Wear clothing that you can easily maneuver and stretch in comfortably.'
