'Everyone knows a legit leg day is hard work and nothing is more brutal than the old school basics when it comes to working out those wheels. We had the privilege of teaming up here the peeps over at @underarmour & @dickssportinggoods to test out the new Project Rock training gear. We wanted to put together a solid hard working iron session that would test even @therock himself next time he steps in the gym. Here is the setup: Set the clock for 40 minutes – the goal is to complete as many rounds as possible resting as needed throughout between sets. 50 Yard Sled Push at 300lbs 10 Reps BB Squats at 225lbs 50 Yard Lunges 40lbs DB’s 10 Reps BB Deadlifts 315lbs That’s one cycle – the goal is to complete as many cycles as possible in the 40-minute time cap. I gutted out 4 rounds myself in 40 minutes at this load and it was nothing short of “Hard” ~ scale the weights as needed to your ability level. And for those of you with less equipment access and freedom – you can always swap dumbbells for barbells and you could try 4 straight sets of each exercise if your gym doesn’t allow you to dominate all the equipment at once. Either way 4 rounds of this in 4 minutes is hard work and will have you walking or wobbling out of the gym when you’re finished.
