'32 OUT 28 BACK // Pre-race Fitness Check with Matt Hanson'

'Come along as I do one of my go-to hard run workouts in the final prep for 70.3 Texas on April 11th. The run is simple: run out 32 minutes and run back 28 (or faster). After a pre-season build focused on patience, I\'m excited to get out there and let loose in a few weeks. This run was one of many that I\'ve done to prepare. Give this workout a try for yourself. I\'d recommend the first time you do it to make a big difference in the 32 min out pace and the 28 min back pace. (for example: run out 8:00 min/mi and run back 7:00 min/mi). You\'re doing it right if you can go faster than 28 minutes. Then you can use the session as a benchmark for further workouts to track fitness. I like to load up the system with faster running on the 32 minute out piece and then try to run the same that you did the first time on the way home. Let me know in the comments if you tried the session, like these single-workout videos or anything else you may want to see. Thanks for following along. Love you team. #LETSGO Instagram: @bigmetztri Website: bigmetztri.com Real ones cop the march: https://www.bigmetztri.com/new-products'
