'Exercise overview: This is a great option to work the core and develop strength and stability in your shoulder girdle and upper body. Can be used as an active warm-up or added to the strength portion of the workout. Muscle Groups Involved: Core, shoulders, chest, and back Coaching Tips: Get in a pushup position with your hands under your shoulders. Move your feet forward a bit and raise your hips so your body forms an inverted “V”. Bend your arms to lower your body until your chin nears the floor. From this position, swoop your head and shoulders upward while lowering your hips until they almost touch the floor. Hold this position (cobra position) for a second and then reverse the move and return to the inverted “V” (downward dog) position. Repeat as directed by your FRF workout and your level of fitness. Perform each rep with control. If the move is too difficult attempt it from your knees.
